[5.0.0 Release] The final tag is in

Dear testers,

The final version of 5.0.0 has just been tagged. There were no changes
after rc5.

Please build the final binaries and upload to the sftp.

For those following along: this means 5.0.0 is complete, but it will
take a few days to get the tarballs ready and published on the web
page. I will send the announcement once everything's ready.

Many thanks everyone for your hard work!

Hans

Hans,

Great, thanks for building!

Uploaded clang+llvm-5.0.0-linux-x86_64-ubuntu16.04.tar.xz and

I only see clang+llvm-5.0.0-linux-x86_64-ubuntu16.04.tar.xz on the
server. Did 14.04 get lost somewhere?

Thanks,
Hans

This one has a different name than all the other releases :(. The other releases are named clang+llvm-<VERSION>-x86_64-linux-gnu-ubuntu-14.04.tar.xz.

I noticed that too. But is it causing any major problem?

Not major problems. But I need to rewrite my script that downloads LLVM. Now it also need to support multiple URL's, because it needs to work for previous releases as well.

Hi,

I've uploaded the binaries for mips:

No changes from rc4 + rc5.

Thanks,
Simon

Thanks! I've added them to the download page. It can take up to an
hour for the change to propagate to the CDN.

Cheers,
Hans
