clang as a crosscompiler

are there any tutorials on using clang as a cross compiler? This
page, http://clang.llvm.org/UniversalDriver.html , seems to imply that
its possible in theory but not in practice. My installation of clang
seems to ignore all the mcpu and march options.

Nothing described there is implemented in the mainline. Easy examples
might work though.
