You can inspect what was checked out with 'git status'
and retry with 'git restore --source=HEAD :/'

Does someone else has this problem?

Hi,

Windows doesn't allow files named with COM1, COM2, etc. See
https://superuser.com/questions/467782/why-cant-i-create-a-folder-named-com1

Hi Chaofan,

thanks for the explanation! I was not aware of this.
So the solution is to rename the files....

Hi,

Reverted in r374144 as all the Windows buildbots croaked, cloning
llvm-project from github now works for me.
