FW: Patch for UCNs in string literals

Oops, another mail missed the list.

What is the problem with tortoise ? IMO it's the best SVN tool available (and its patches include svn-added files).

The problem with Tortoise is that it is a shell extension, so is active everywhere in the Windows shell, whether the current directory houses an SVN repository or not. The convenience looks nice, but the potential for problems on whole system stability rise considerably too. Maybe I just had bad experiences with a poor tortoise release, but it persuaded me to adopt a simple NO policy to any shell extension.

It does have an inclusion/exclusion list, which helped when I last
tried. Turning off the icons for different file states also improved
performance somewhat.
