Importing Andersen and Steensgaard Alias Analysis in Latest LLVM

Hi All,

Currently I am working on Alias Analysis and planning to modify and make available both Andersen and Steensgaard Alias Analysis passes to the latest version of LLVM. Is it a good idea to do so?

When questions like this one were raised in the past, there were concerns about patents. I think the issues were summarized in that thread, you might try searching for it.
