not able to run pass on visual studio 2010

I am not able to generate llvmhello.so after
compiling llvm on visual studio.
I also went through some of your posts related
to the same. One of them says that
"IIRC, LLVM cannot produce shared library on Windows".

So is there any alternate way by
which i can run built in passes on visual studio?

  Sorry, my bad. Loadable module is available on Windows, but is not built
with MSVC. Try MinGW instead.
