Should I be reporting experimental target build/test failures?

As part of packaging LLVM 16 snapshots for Gentoo, I’m trying to build and test all experimental targets. However, in most of my attempts some of the experimental targets fail to build or have failing tests — usually indicating that they haven’t been updated to follow some changes in main.

I’m wondering: is there a point in me reporting these failures to the maintainers of respective backends, or should I just assume “they’ll be fixed when the maintainer tests next” and ignore them?
