Unable to do basic tutorial: "Getting Started: Building and Running Clang"

Hello everyone!

I am trying to compile de basic tutorial of " Getting Started: Building and Running Clang" in Windows 10 and I have some struggles while trying to compile with Visual Studio. I had installed Visual Studio Community 2022 (with support from VS 2017), VS Build Tools 2022 and Visual Studio Build Tools 2017, I also have VS Code (Version 1.68.1). The actual problem is that when I tried to run “cmake -DLLVM_ENABLE_PROJECTS=clang -G “Visual Studio 15 2017” -A x64 -Thost=x64 …\llvm” as is described in Clang - Getting Started section " Using Visual Studio" point 3, I run into this problem with the CMake:

“Host Visual Studio version must be at least 19.20, your version is 19.16.27048.0.”

This shouldn’t be a problem since I have the last version of Visual Studio and also changed the priority in PATH variable, but anyway, here I am looking for some help.

Thank you in advance for your colaboration
Regards
Alan

Change this to the version of VS you want to use.

I tried before, but it didnt work, I have to erase all the content in build folder before trying again, and then it worked.

Thank you very much!
