Last call for bug fixes for the 8.0.1 release

Hi,

I'm planning to do 8.0.1-rc2 before the end of the week. If you have any fixes
you want to get into the release let me know before then. After -rc2, I won't
be accepting any new fixes unless they are critical.

Update: I'm still waiting to hear back from code owners on a few bugs, so
I'm going to delay -rc2 until Monday.
