Fyi, I managed to build the EmitC dialect as an external dialect (based on the standalone dialect example). Tests do not pass yet, but I should be able to make the code it available on GitHub if that is interesting for anybody. My primarily interested is to gain some experience with to build something similar/something based on EmitC for IREE.
