We at SCI Semi are hiring for a contributor to the open source LLVM-based toolchain for CHERIoT!
We are looking for someone interested in contributing to the toolchain for RISCV CHERI-based microcontrollers. Our work spans all the layers of the toolchain, from the frontend to the linker and debugger. This work includes collaborating with other members of the CHERI ecosystem on the ongoing upstreaming effort, merging, testing, and releasing new versions of the toolchain to users, developing new toolchain features in close collaboration with our RTOS environment, and collaborating with our hardware team on supporting the first CHERIoT silicon.
Particular knowledge of linkers and/or the lowest levels of debuggers would be a plus for this role, but any candidate with broad interests in toolchains is encouraged to apply.
The company is fully remote, based out of the UK. The role is open to candidates in most locations with reasonable timezone overlap to the UK. If you’re uncertain, feel free to reach out and ask.
