Setting up a first meeting

I think it makes sense for us to have an initial video conference to get to know each other.

As we’re distributed across time zones from UTC-8 to UTC+8, it will be hard to find something that works for everyone.

Any ideas how we could schedule such an event?
And what should we be discussing during our first meeting?

One of our working groups uses Doodle Polls to schedule meetings:

Nice, they also support scheduling across time zones!

A few people were reporting issues when using Google Meets, so we might want to use Zoom instead.

Next steps:

  • add the rest of the interested folks to our iwg@llvm.org mailing list
  • then send out a poll to find a suitable time slot.
